With Sodigaz, Khady Koné-Dicoh introduces Amethis to Burkina Faso

The Burkinabè leader in gas cylinder distribution has a new shareholder.

According to Jeune Afrique Business+, Amethis Finance’s investment, announced on September 4, is valued at approximately ten million euros for a “significant minority stake” in Sodigaz and was completed through Amethis West Africa, an investment vehicle dedicated to the CIMA region.

Behind the deal is Khady Koné-Dicoh (EM Lyon Business School), Investment Director at Amethis since 2013 and formerly with Société Générale’s mergers and acquisitions department, who approached Lala Bolly, CEO of Sodigaz, in mid-2016.
