Fayçal Ammour is a Senior Partner, Group Chief Financial Officer, and Conducting Officer. He is also responsible for the Group’s Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) and is based in Luxembourg.

As a CSSF-approved Conducting Officer, he oversees key regulated functions, including Portfolio Management and Marketing.

Before joining Amethis in 2019, Faycal spent four years within the Inspection and Audit Division of Société Générale Group, where he served as Head of Audit for Finance, leading audit assignments and assessments covering finance, accounting, Tax, regulatory reporting, and corporate governance across the Group.

He began his career with KPMG in France and the United States, providing audit, transaction, and financial advisory services to major financial institutions operating across North America, Europe, and Africa. He subsequently joined Ecobank International, the pan-African banking group, as part of the Finance Department, where he served as CFO of the International Cluster. Based in Paris, he spent four years contributing to the establishment and development of the Group’s French banking subsidiary and supporting the operations of its international offices in London, Dubai, Beijing, and Johannesburg.

Faycal holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, as well as an Executive Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the same institution. He further completed an executive education programme in Innovative Management and Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson College in the United States. He also successfully passed the examinations leading to the French Chartered Accountant qualification and holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting (DESCF).

He is a French and Moroccan citizen and speaks fluent English, French and Arabic.
