Marieke Geurts was named Woman Investor of the Year 2025 by EAVCA

This distinction reflects Marieke’s strong leadership and continued commitment to impact-driven investment. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a clear investment vision, an ability to identify and structure transformative deals, and a deep commitment to building sustainable value across the African continent.

This recognition comes alongside the successful opening of Amethis’ new office in South Africa in October 2025, which Marieke now leads. She was also promoted to Managing Director at Amethis in January 2026.
