Biography

Aurélie Pujo is Senior Partner and General Counsel at Amethis. She is based in Abidjan.

Ms Pujo is a member of Amethis Executive Committee which oversees the firm’s operations and investments. She is a board member of Amethis management and advisory company for the funds. She provides legal support in connection with all investment activities: new investments, portfolio management, structuring funds and investment vehicles as well as managing compliance issues. She is also responsible for Communication and Investor Relations. Ms Pujo is board member for PetroIvoire (Côte d’Ivoire), Novamed (Côte d’Ivoire) and for Amethis West Africa.

Prior to joining Amethis in 2013, Ms Pujo was Principal Counsel at Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), a Pan-African PE fund based in Tunis, where she was in charge of providing legal support to investment activities in the MENA region and Africa. Previously, she was a lawyer at White & Case in Paris on Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice and at Herbert Smith in Paris and Shanghai.

Ms Pujo holds a degree in International Business Law from the Business Law Institute (Aix-en-Provence), has been admitted to the Paris bar since 2005 and has an Executive MBA from HEC Business School (Paris). She is a French citizen and is fluent in English and French.
