Recruitment of Rebecca Denyer as Investment Director dedicated to Amethis Europe Expansion
Amethis – a partner member of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity – announces the recruitment of Rebecca Denyer as Investment Director for its European SME investment activity.
Rebecca has built a strong career in private equity: after starting out at EY, Omnes Capital and PwC in Transaction Services, she joined Bpifrance in 2017, where she held the position of Investment Director. At Bpifrance she actively contributed to several investments, including Herbarom, Looping, and Pharmatis.
With 10 years of professional experience in the sector, she will join Amethis in September 2023 as Investment Director, within the Europe Expansion team, led by Nicolas Manardo and Romain Gauvrit, with whom Rebecca had previously worked at Bpifrance.
The FPCI Amethis Europe Expansion (“AEE”), an internationalisation and social impact fund, aims to accelerate the growth and profitability of European SMEs through the development of their exports, local establishments or supplies in the most dynamic economies, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.
The fund, which qualifies under Article 8 of the SFDR regulation, also has a strong social and carbon efficiency impact. Setting up employee share ownership schemes, ongoing training programmes and labour market reintegration programmes are central to AEE’s priorities, as is reducing the environmental impact of the companies in the portfolio.
Two investments have already been made, in Groupe Office Automation in France and HB Aesthetics in Spain, and a third is in the pipeline.
Rebecca is a graduate of ESCP Business School, specialising in Finance.
